Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 Temmuz 2026
By signing up for Notal (the "Service") you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Notal automatically transcribes meeting audio you record in the browser or upload, summarizes it and extracts action items. The outputs are generated by AI models.
2. Your account
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity under your account.
- A workspace owner is responsible for the use made by the members they invite.
- The Service may not be used by anyone under 13.
3. Recording responsibility
It is your responsibility to inform the people in the meetings you record and to obtain any required permissions. In some jurisdictions, recording audio without the consent of all parties is a criminal offense. You bear all civil and criminal liability arising from use of the Service in violation of applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content,
- Process conversations recorded without permission, or upload other people's data without a legal basis,
- Place excessive automated load on the Service, attempt to exceed its limits, or attempt to circumvent its security measures,
- Reverse-engineer, copy or resell the Service.
5. Plans and limits
The free plan includes 10 hours of transcription per month and 5 GB of audio storage. The limit per file is 300 MB. When a limit is exceeded, recordings are kept but new transcriptions cannot be started. A paid plan is not yet available for purchase; when billing launches, the terms will be updated on this page and existing users will be notified in advance.
We reserve the right to temporarily restrict accounts whose use places unreasonable load on the Service.
6. Accuracy of AI outputs
Transcripts, summaries, action items and "decision conflict" warnings are generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or misleading. Audio quality, accents, background noise and cross-talk reduce accuracy. Speaker separation (diarization) is not performed. Do not rely on the outputs for legal, financial or medical decisions; verify against the recording itself for anything important. No express or implied warranty is given as to the accuracy of the outputs.
7. Your content
The audio you upload and the text generated from it belong to you. You grant us the limited license needed to provide the Service (processing, storing, displaying, exporting). We do not use your content to train AI models.
8. Availability
The Service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Outages may occur due to maintenance, updates or infrastructure providers. We recommend keeping your own backups — meeting outputs can be exported as Word documents and retrieved via the API.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or business interruption. In any event, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim arose (zero for free use).
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent and your recordings and texts cannot be recovered. In the event of a serious breach of these terms we may suspend or close your account; in that case you will be given a reasonable period to export your data.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by [governing law — to be completed]. The courts of [DOLDURULACAK — şehir] have jurisdiction over disputes. Any statutory rights you have as a consumer remain unaffected.
